I Got The Sun In The Morning

You know that you're loved when a blog friend names her rose bush after you.  My dear friend, Teresa, planted a lovely pink rose bush at her home in Portugal, and named it after me.  She called it "Sheri's Rose Bush."  Teresa's blog, I Got the Sun in the Morning, is like a breath of fresh air to me, and if you love quotes, as I do, you will find her blog so inspiring and delightful.  These pictures were all taken by her, and "Sheri's Rose Bush" is coming alive and blooming every day.

Teresa,
I am honored
I am thankful
And this girl loves you.

~Sheri

That is SO COOL. You see? This is what blogging does. It allows us to express how important we are to each other. Though we are surrounded by loved ones daily, who actually articulates this sort of admiration unless you needed to write about it. Stunning roses, lovely friend, wonderful YOU.

That is really sweet Sheri… Such a nice gesture. Your friend thinks so highly of you, as she should… you are so sweet and that comes through in all of your posts. The rose is beautiful, and I think that says a lot about you. Enjoy this lovely spring day.
XOXO Mary

Sheri, I can see why Teresa would be so inspired to name a rose bush after you. :) I can't look at a single rose and not think of you. Yesterday, I was trying to remember which Louis Armstrong song you used to have on your page when I first started visiting. Do you remember which one it was? I've been humming his songs for over 24 hours. teehee
THANK YOU SO MUCH for the birthday wishes for A.J. They were received with much love and joy.
I'm off to browse what I've missed and then to visit Teresa.
Love you, my friend.
