Three Trees, Three Hearts

Our trees are all decorated and reflect each of us in our own way.  Nel has gold accents on her tree, and I really like it.  It reminds me of the gift of gold that was given by one of the three wise men on that holy night.

Jess favors red on her tree.  Red has always reminded me of love, and what better color to represent Christmas, as Jesus is love.

What is it about Purple that stirs my heart?  Besides it being the color of Advent, it is the most extraordinary color to me.  Here's my tree.

I hope you liked the peek
at our trees.

you won't find it under a tree.

I'm glad to be able to share
Christmas together

WOW. What a creative family you were blessed with, Dear Sheri! And how fortunate and blessed they are that they have been allowed to develop their creative strikes in their own ways... and that comes out in each of the trees you created every year.

When I see pictures of the girls I think they have my dear friend's eyes or nose or something in the way they pose and YET there they stand Ladies of their own Hearts and Castles.

So heartwarming to witness. I hope they are blessed with children of their own and perpetuate the heritage of love, respect and beauty that was bestowed upon them. I know they will.

In Nel tree the Angel is YOU!
In Jess tree that Paris elegant shoe is YOU!
And your tree brings back memories of plays and joy of childhood - the nutcracker, the shines and the STAR to guide and welcome them all in your (new! YAY) Home and Heart.

Happy Holidays,

Teresa

Such beautiful trees, Sheri - each one a lovely reflection of the Christmas Spirit! As the mother of two daughters, myself, I know how different they can be, with their own distinct style and taste. My eldest daughter would definitely love the red tree, especially the little shoes, as she is crazy for shoes! My youngest daughter would love the gold one - she is all about little luxuries and her nickname is 'Sparkle'. Purple is my favorite tree - it is royal and elegant. Lovely trees and a lovely quote - so true. Wishing you a wonderful, week before Christmas, filled with love. Hugs xo Karen

Good evening sweet "sister!" Sheri, I feel so blessed to have a "family" of friends with whom I can share my ideas. I want to share my home and hope to but it will be after the holidays. My work just doesn't allow for time to photograph or even open up CHRISTMAS CARDS! I kid you not. I have some cards on my desk that I have not even opened!

I did my decorations one year in purple. It was so beautiful. And do I spy a little red shoe there? I THANK YOU for that!

It has been a great almost seven years for me of blogging. When we met, I am so grateful for that. Wishing you a peaceful and perfect Christmas my dear friend. Anita

Good morning precious sister!

YES! I decorated in purple one year and it was fun. Outside on my wreath, I had a long and glittery purple ribbon that would blow in the wind. Inside, I had purple ribbons tied to the garland and it really gave a rich sense to the décor. It's funny how some years you try something totally new, then other years, you hold back. This is that year. I am loving a very sparse look with a tiny real tree only with lights. The rest are natural elements (wood, greenery) and it is so peaceful.

I am working on getting photos THIS WEEKEND and next week since today after school marks my two-week vacation. I cannot wait. I have a lot of grading to do however, as I go in early this morning. But once that is done, I AM FREE and I hope to snap some photos.

MUCH LOVE dearest Sheri! Anita

All the trees are beautiful with their varieties of whimsy. Our tree is soaked in all the ornaments from over the years, and we must get a tall wide one next year. Hope your weekend is blissful.

Hello Sheri! I love all your little decorations; I love the nutcrackers especially and the adorable ice skates!!! I want those!!!! Also you know the 3rd photo down in the post the angel with the dress swooping behind? I have that on my tree as well!! I chose her when I was about 10 or 11 and have always loved her on the tree because the tree lights reflect well in her dress. So we both have very good taste obviously!! ;) I wish you and your family a wonderful and relaxing Christmas break and a very happy and healthy new year :) Much love and a big hug from me xxx
